Working on the Windsor Hotel

There are signs of activity inside and outside the currently unoccupied Windsor Park Hotel in the Sault’s downtown.

Last week, window washers were spotted cleaning the outside of the hotel, which has been dormant for the past few years.

And this week, workers from a fire alarm safety company have been working inside the building, which is located on the corner of Queen and Brock streets.

As Sault Business Matters reported on July 14, John Filipetti, the Sault-based listing agent for the nine-floor, high-rise hotel, confirmed that the downtown landmark had a new owner.

Sault Business Matters subsequently learned that the new owner is Feroze Virani of Richmond Hill-based Heathrow Properties Inc.
