IRON BRIDGE — North Sea Gas, which is a Scottish folk band, will appear here on Sunday, June 14, Sault Business Matters has confirmed. A village of 630 residents, Iron Bridge is located about 70 miles east of the Sault.

Dave Gilfillan, Ronnie MacDonald and Grant Simpson make up the North Sea Gas band, which has included a stop in Iron Bridge as part of its North American tour.

North Sea Gas has been playing Scottish folk music for close to 40 years and has received gold disc awards from the Scottish Music Industry Association, according to a press release.

The band will play a pair of 60-minute acoustic sets at the Iron Bridge Lions Hall when it appears here on June 14. The show is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
