At the library next month
Renowned Sault musicians Rusty McCarthy and Maja Bannerman, aka Junk and Juice, will perform Chapter and Verse — a musical merry-go-round of songs, stories and vignettes — next month at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library.
McCarthy and Bannerman will share the back story to some of their songs and include new material inspired by books that they say have shook their worlds.
The duo says their shows are performance driven and blend a variety of musical styles with spoken word, creative movement and a dash of audience participation.
The upcoming event at the downtown Centennial Library is slated for Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are sale now at the Centennial Library at a cost of $15 per person and admittance is restricted to those 19 years of age and over. There will be a cash bar.
