Marconi Cultural Event Centre will be the host site for its ‘Marconi Meets World’ free event to be held from July 21 to 23 at its 450 Albert St. W. location. Donations will be accepted at the gate with proceeds going to the Soup Kitchen.

The main stage lineup for the July 21-23 happening includes an incredible group of Canadian talent. Friday headliners include JUNO award winners Tom Wilson & Digging Roots and Indigenous Music Award winner Mimi O’Bonsawin. Thursday and Saturday welcomes locals Brendan Hodgson, Dynowaves, Unorganized Township, Wyld Stallyns, All the Tired Horses and Sainte Marie. Saturday’s “Italian Fest “portion of the festival includes everyone’s favourite party band Killer Hooks, while Carmen Spada and Frankly Speaking serenade with Italian classics.

This three-day outdoor event is in collaboration with Missanabie Cree First Nation, Elettra Marconi Society and G Marconi Society. Experience cultural celebrations including Indigenous, Italian, and various other cultures. Food, drink, vendors, and Kids n’ the Neighbourhood zone will be present throughout the duration.

With the expansion of its cultural heritage, the MCEC welcomes all in the community to attend.
