Sault Ste. Marie member of provincial parliament Ross Romano, who is also the Ontario government’s minister of training, colleges and universities, has released a statement as the new post-secondary school year commences this week.

“I want to extend my best wishes to all post-secondary students heading back to class this week.

“The start of a new academic year is an opportunity for growth and experience. As students immerse themselves in their studies, extracurricular activities, and social lives, they will be learning the skills needed to be future leaders, entrepreneurs, and job creators.

“A new school year is an exciting time. Ontario has some of the best post-secondary institutions, educators and support staff in the country. I wish all students the very best of luck as they continue to gain the experience and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world and economy,” Romano relayed.
