Best ever for Big Blue Box
Sault Business Matters has received the following press release from the good folks at St. Vincent Place, which is located on Albert St. E. in the Sault’s downtown.
St. Vincent Place would like to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone in the community who made this year’s Big Blue Box Food Drive the most successful yet.
Due to the extreme generosity of the community, this year’s drive brought in a whopping $53,875 worth of donations. That’s $19,000 more than our previous record!
Thank you to everyone who donated in support of our food bank.
Of course, it would not have been possible as well without the help of our wonderful volunteers. To those who distributed flyers before the drive, collected the donations the day of the drive, or have helped sorting and counting the donations over the last two weeks, thank you!
Although our shelves are full right now, the need in our food bank continues to be high.
