There are two churches in the downtown area of the Sault that feature thrift shops that are open to the public every Wednesday.

• Westminster Presbyterian Church has its ‘Bargain Box Thrift Shop’ open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please enter Memorial Hall, via the double oak doors on Brock Street. Clothing, household goods, glassware, books, linen, decor, and furniture items are available. Public health measures will be followed including the need for masks, hand sanitizing, sign-in and a limited number of people. Bargain Box has something new every week.

• The ‘Closet’ at Central United Church, 160 Spring Street, is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by often as new items of gently used clothing and accessories will arrive weekly. COVID-19 safety restrictions will be in place – masks, sign in, sanitizer, limited people at a time etc.
