Tony’s Walk For Change
Sault Ste. Marie’s Soup Kitchen Community Centre will be holding the first Tony Martin ‘Walk for Change Walk-a-Thon’ on Sunday, June 4.
Tony Martin — who went on to represent Sault Ste. Marie as a politician both federally and provincially — was a founding father of the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre and a champion for the poor through out his years in politics. Participants will walk for change to raise awareness of so many struggling with food insecurity and homelessness and raise much needed funds to help us help others.
Pledge packages can be picked up at the Soup Kitchen, which is located in the Sault’s west end.
