March for a Veteran
Attention local and area residents: If you wish to honour a veteran or a currently serving member of the Canadian or Allied forces on Remembrance Day here’s what you can do:
1. Sign up by calling 705 945 8721 (Your name and contact info and the name of the vet you are marching for.)
2. Bring a picture or carry medals (not allowed to wear them) while marching.
3. Show up at GFL Memorial Gardens on Saturday Nov. 11 by 10 a.m.
4. Wheelchairs and strollers if required are very welcome if an adult is pushing.
This is always a huge success – please honour those who gave.
