Taylgate for food banks
Are you ready for it? Brenda Wright is hosting the Soo Version TaylGate Party at Soo Blaster, 345 Queen St., on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1. The party lasts from 2-6 p.m. and is in association with The Borderline Soo Radio and Stone’s Office Supply. All proceeds after cost are being donated to Sault Ste. Marie Food Banks and take out charities.
A long time Swiftie, Brenda admires the star’s Reputation for supporting those agencies that help feed the hungry. The idea to throw a party of our Wildest Dreams and assist the local food banks was a natural for Brenda, while paying forward for the inspiration that Swift’s music has made on her.
This event offers a safe, indoor, and accessible space for people of all ages to Shake It Off with their friends and create enchanted memories with other lucky ones.
Ticket prices are $20, fees and tax included, and $5 for Under-16 fans. Advance tickets are available at Stone’s Office Supply, downtown 529 Queen St. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Online tickets at www.eventbrite.ca/e/soo-version-taylgate-party-tickets plus fee. Donations accepted.
The Soo Version Taylgate Party offers a safe space to create and exchange your home-made friendship bracelets, get bejeweled with Taylor inspired face artistry, photo ops at balloon stations and have the best day dancing and singing to Taylor Swift’s music though the eras!
We know all too well, Swifties of all ages will fashion their own eras style, make their own bracelets and let the sparks fly.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Alcohol options will only be served to those with proper legal ID. Soo Blaster is an all accessible venue.
