PUC is excited to share news about newly announced electricity demand-side management (eDSM) programs coming to Ontario, thanks to the support of the provincial government.

These programs supported by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) will help residents and businesses lower their electricity bills and make smarter energy choices while contributing to a cleaner, more reliable grid.

Starting in 2025, these initiatives will offer incentives for energy efficiency upgrades, tools to manage electricity usage, and tailored programs to meet local needs. PUC is proud to play a role in delivering these benefits to the communities we serve.

“We commend the Government of Ontario for this vital investment in energy efficiency”, said Robert Brewer, President & CEO, PUC Services Inc.

“The eDSM framework aligns with PUC’s commitment to empowering our customers with tools to manage their energy usage effectively. These programs will make a meaningful difference for residents and businesses in the communities we serve.”

Through this initiative, PUC customers will gain access to a range of energy efficiency programs designed to:

  • Lower energy bills: Incentivizing energy-saving upgrades for residential and business
    consumers.
  • Enhance grid reliability: Supporting a stable and resilient electricity system to meet
    growing demands.
  • Support local needs: Tailored programs will address specific regional and community
requirements, ensuring PUC customers benefit directly from these initiatives.
  • More details on how you can take advantage of these new programs will be available in the
coming weeks. For updates, visit www.puc.ca.
