Meet, greet Vezeau-Allen
Sault Ste. Marie and District Labour Council is sponsoring a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the local New Democratic Party candidate for the upcoming Ontario provincial election. The event will be held on Tuesday of this week from 7-8 p.m.
Lisa Vezeau-Allen will be on the stage at the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Community Centre, located at 172 James Street. The Tuesday evening event is open to the public.
Vezeau-Allen said she plans to discuss the NDP platform on housing affordability, healthcare and mental health supports. She will also share her own collaborative work and countless volunteering hours supporting the concerns of food insecurity and vulnerable peoples within Sault Ste. Marie.
Former Sault MPP and MP Tony Martin will be a featured guest at the Tuesday evening event.
The looming provincial election will be held on Thursday, February 27.
