Why is the Sault in a shutdown?

The number of COVID-19 cases here in the Sault are quite low in comparison to the rest of the Province of Ontario … but here we are in another “shutdown” and I know that I am not alone when I ask “why us”? Why are we in the same category as the “hot spots” when we are not a “hot spot” is another question to ask.

This is just not fair … it is especially not fair to hair salons and restaurants who once again are being singled out as “problem areas” by Public Health and the Ontario Government when it comes to COVID-19.

Hair salons and restaurants are shut down but schools (with hundreds of students and teachers inside the same school) are open! Who is running this Province? Is it the Ontario Government … or is it the Teachers Unions? That is another question to ask!

This is so-o-o-o-o frustrating just as it is so unfair as Small Business continues to bear the brunt of COVID-19 … while the Big Box stores just get to carry on as usual. Where is the justice and the fairness in all of this is another question to ask!
