Shipwreck Museum exhibits
Open daily until October 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, near Paradise, has two new exhibits.
One is focused on the A.A. Parker, sunk in 1903 and the second, the restored Motor Lifeboat CG #3638, is a project begun 10 years ago, when the 100-year-old craft was found on the brink of demolition to salvage its hardware.
Meanwhile, the Great Lakes Shipwrecks Historical Society notes last year’s discovery of two new shipwrecks is among the major accomplishments of 2023.
