Props to PUC and golf
EDITOR’S NOTE: Sault Business Mattters has received the following media release from PUC Services Inc. relative to its inaugural charity golf tournament.
On a perfect day for golf, 144 local golfers came together on Friday, July 26 to make PUC Services Inc.’s inaugural charity golf tournament a resounding success. With the support of PUC employees, local sponsors, and community members, the event raised an impressive $15,924.25 for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) of Algoma.
Held in honour of our beloved team member, Cecil Mah, the tournament featured 36 teams
competing on the beautiful Crimson Ridge Golf Course. Participants enjoyed snack bars on the
course, an array of fabulous raffle prizes donated by local sponsors, and a fantastic dinner to
conclude the event.
“We are thrilled with the turnout and the generosity shown by all who participated,” said
Robert Brewer, CEO & President of PUC Services Inc. “We are beyond grateful for the
overwhelming support in honoring Cecil’s memory. We hope that the funds raised will
significantly support the essential work the Canadian Mental Health Association does in our
community.”
PUC Services Inc. extends special thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and participants for their
contributions and support. We look forward to continuing this tradition and making an even
greater impact in the years to come.
