Steel City NerdCon is a go!

Sault Business Matters has learned that Vintage Games N’ Junque has decided to go ahead with its popular event at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.

It will have up to 40 exhibitors from across the province carefully spread out to allow for social distancing.

Details are as follows.

Each vendor will only have one staff person to allow 60 patrons at a time.

Social distancing will be strongly encouraged and enforced.

Face coverings/masks will be required and there will be sanitization stations available.

As always, those who attend are encouraged to dress as their favourite characters and of course, photos will be taken! There will be prizes for costumes and other giveaways.

If you love comics, games, pop culture, memorabilia then you don’t want to miss this!

The third edition of the Steel City NerdCon is slated to run on October 17 from 12 to 8 p.m. at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.

After a challenging time, it’s time to put some smiles on people’s faces so barring no spike in cases of COVID-19 with the reopening of schools, it will happen!

Have fun, be safe and be patient!

About 500 tickets will go on sale next week. General admission is $10.
