Ice Hawks are good as gold
Sault Ice Hawks U12 ringette squad headed south this weekend for the Whitby Tournament looking to extend its astonishing 12-0 undefeated record. And they did.
In the round robin, the talented Sault crew faced opponents including Metcalf, Sutherland, Timmins and Richmond Hill. The Ice Hawks won all four games, then the semi-final and finally the gold medal game against the Forest XTreme winning that one by a score of 7-4. The six games won on the weekend brings their unbeaten streak to an impressive eighteen games.
