New at the old RYTAC
Remember RYTAC? The old boat house at the former Rotary-YMCA Tennis and Aquatic Club on McPhail St. has been taken over by Sault College.
And Sault College has splendidly re-done the old facility and turned it into what is being named the Waterfront Adventure Centre.
Sault College is hosting a grand opening (by invitation) of the new Waterfront Adventure Centre this Friday morning at 8:00 at its McPhail St. location. The centre will then be open to the public as of 10 a.m. on Friday.
We can tell you that the Waterfront Adventure Centre will feature tennis, pickle ball and beach volleyball courts as well as rentals for canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boarding — not to mention a breathtaking view of the St. Mary’s River from a patio.
