Free parking downtown
The City of Sault Ste. Marie, via its parking division, has advised that there will be free parking downtown during the holiday season.
Through Friday. Dec. 27, free parking is available at all meters, pay and display units and two-hour municipal parking lots in the Sault’s downtown area.
It should be noted that the holiday exemption does not include parking in handicap spaces without a permit, any identified no parking areas, fire routes and private (permit only) lots.
