Fit Minds include improved small group training, kinesiology work, ergonomic assessments, certifications, corporate wellness, health in the workplace, corrective and functional classes, pilates/reformer classes, yoga classes, specialized programs, pre and post natal fitness classes, and youth/teen fitness camps.
In addition, other services offered include fascial stretch therapy, motor vehicle accident treatment plans (they are licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario), rehabilitation services with a certified kinesiologist, access to holistic life coaches and a holistic nutrition consultant, and as mentioned they even have mobile training where they can come to your workplace/group location. If you have always wanted to try private training, you may be interested in the new small group options now available which are limited to six people per time slot and are only thirty minutes in length with a focus on personalized training in a supportive group setting with fitness, nutrition feedback, and tips included to optimize achievements.
The New Year at Fit Bodies. Fit Minds brings the following six week programs, some of which are returning favourites and others which are new: Eat Well. Move Well. Be Well. and Iron Barre. Eight week programs also happening in January include Strong Moms, Surrender, and Fit Bellies. On January 13, yogis will be happy to see that the challenging iron flow yoga series has returned for ten weeks. Karma (by donation) classes to benefit important and worthy causes in the community are often offered as well.
Some upcoming events to look out for include a workshop called “Create A Life You Love…How To Reach Optimal Wellness,” on February 20 at 7:30 pm, a Women’s Wellness Retreat on May 3, Glow & Flow on April 9 and a CEC course on May 2.
The two floor studio is very spacious and beautiful and therefore based on availability and with adequate advance notice, it can also be booked for private fun fitness themed parties related parties. It is also worth noting that owner Kyla Faganely is the Can-Fit Northern Ontario Pro Trainer who certifies all those wishing to become a personal trainer, which is one of many qualifications she has attained.
