Local library book club
Located in the Sault’s downtown, the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library will play host to a series of book clubs running from September to December.
• Two sessions of ‘The Tuesday Book Club’ will meet on the third Tuesday of each month. (Morning session from 10 to 11:30 a.m.; afternoon session from 2 to 3:30 p.m.)

• Oct. 17 Book Club A – Morning Session: Kiss the Red Stairs by Marsha Lederman Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Secret Book of Flora Lea by Patti Henry
• Nov. 21 Book Club A – Morning Session: River Sing Me Home by Eleanor Shearer Book Club B – Afternoon Session: The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb

• The Mystery and Suspense Book Club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
• The Mystery Book Club Meeting Dates: Sept. 13 – Dark Objects by Simon Toyne, Oct. 11 – Wake by Shelley Burr, Nov. 8 – A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham, Dec. 13 – No Strangers Here by Carlene O’Connor
